Welcome to the department of Information Technology where faculty and staff are committed for ensuring great careers for their students The department was established in the year 2001 and offers bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with an intake of 120 students. The department is accredited by NBA for its quality education.

The department strives to provide a conducive environment for the students to develop analytical and practical skills and apply them to real world problems through the state-of-art infrastructure, well equipped laboratories, classrooms with modern teaching aids.

Furthermore, in order to promote co-curricular activities in students, department has strong association with different professional bodies like CSI, NPTEL student chapters .It is ensured to conduct activities to be conducted effectively and efficiently for overall development of students and prepare them for dynamically changing technology.

Department takes pride in establishing Machine learning Lab with High performance Computing (HPC) facility and Ubiquitous Computing and Computer Vision Lab sponsored by AICTE where students get opportunity to work on challenging projects.

The department has well qualified professional faculty members who are not only contributing towards the holistic development of students but also work as resource person at national level.

Students are having enormous talents and creativity which are being explored by extra co-curricular activities like group discussion, debate, programming contests, project competition etc Students are encouraged to join various technical and non-technical forums, which in turn give them horizontal exposure to engineering concepts and technology.
